not to me, but to others
when people know u're currently studying somewhere, of course the first question that come across their mind is "where are u studying?"
and when i tell them the name of my college, some of them will be like 'oh! a private college..' and will look at me with the look that i don't understand, some will ask why i chose to enter private instead of public university and i'll be like rolling my eyes with how-i-wish-i-could-choose-the-universities-look on my face to them but of course i just do that only in my head lol don't wanna be called rude obvly.. while some of them will just replied 'ohhh' because actually they haven't heard abt my college, not that i mind tho and some of them who know my college will be like 'woww!!' and keep complementing how great am i to be able to enrolled there like they really know me but actually they don't and i can't see the relationship between how great your brain works with what university u go -_-"
and then, the next questions will be what course i'm taking, what programme, yada yada..
but there's one question that gives me quite an impact.. (..lah sangat haha lol)
the "berapa lama foundation?" question.
when i told those people how long it is, they will be like 'nape tk buat asasi je, lagi sekejap..' and i'll be like 'hahaha.. how i wish i could'. i know my programme is not as well-known as A-level and not as fast as asasi or matriks. rarely people know about SAM, some even confused it with AUSMAT.
but, the time taken for that programme is only 1 year and a half which is just 6 months extra than asasi!! but people still will look at me with that look again and i which i could understand why. Just why exactly people really look up to people who finish their studies and able to graduate earlier? i believe that the same case goes to the diploma student since they need to spend 3 years to study for their diploma. i really don't understand why people look down to diploma. is it just because of the 3 years study? does the longer u study means the more stupid u are? but does that applied to the A-level student who have 2 years? definitely no, right? from my observation, people still look up to those in A-level tho.. just whyy.. hahaha i really don't understand people -_-
anyway, this is just from my experience and my observations.
actually, banyak lagi nak cakap but takpe laa..
